Currently, nearly 2,000 children at learning centers in six countries – India, Mexico, Serbia, South Africa, Venezuela, and the U.S. – benefit daily from these programs.

Indianapolis businesswoman and philanthropist Christel DeHaan founded the charity in 1998 and contributes all general and administrative costs. Consequently, 100% of all donations fund programs directly benefiting Christel House children.
